We are a third generation family owned business established in 1959 by Mr. Lee Mudd operating as one of the oldest consulting forestry firms in the Ark-La-Tex.

 
 

Mudd and Holland currently manages timber for landowners in 28 counties & parishes across Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas.

 
 
 

TIM HOLLAND

Tim Holland, owner and lead forester, started working with his father-in-law in 1980 and took over operation of the business after Mr. Mudd’s passing in 2012. Tim is a Certified Tree Farm Inspector, sits on the board of directors for the Louisiana Society of American Foresters, and currently serves as president of the Louisiana Forestry Association. Multiple properties under his management have been awarded Louisiana Tree Farm of the Year.

 
 
 

JASON HOLLAND

Jason Holland, Lee Mudd’s grandson, came on board in the fall of 2018. Jason has a degree in Economics from Centenary College and a Bachelor’s in Forestry from Louisiana Tech, where he graduated with honors. In 2022, Jason was elected to serve as district representative on the Society of American Foresters’ national board of directors where he represents Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.

 
 
 

David HOLLAND

David Holland, joined the team in the spring of 2023. David earned a degree in Engineering from Louisiana Tech, and has a background in operations and project management. David is a lifetime member of the Louisiana Forestry Association and spends most days out with Tim learning the tracts.
